Role and Responsibilities
We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Humanities in our Secondary school, with experience of teaching a range of humanities subjects, especially Geography and History. The ability to teach to the National Curriculum of England, and deliver the IGCSE and A Level qualifications are essential.
We are looking for educators with a proven track record of quality teaching at Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and preferably at A Level or IB, who can demonstrate the initiative and innovation to continue to develop our whole-school curriculum, which embraces our school’s commitment to our natural environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible, dynamic and able to contribute to a range of curriculum areas and subjects.
We highly value the ability of teachers to actively, innovatively and enthusiastically contribute to Enrichment. Experience of planning and delivering off-site activities and residential trips is highly desirable and experience of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award would be advantageous.
